BEYOND THE GUIDE
If you have worked you way through The Guide you will now have a good general understanding of the basics of Astronomy.
There are plenty of good books you can buy that take things further. Some are listed on the Reading List page. Also, check out the RESOURCES section of this website for useful information, downloads, software and tools.
But you can't beat learning by coming to MKAS meetings and events, and also by observing with your own eyes.
Come and join in the fun, and visit the society at one of its events and we can help you take your Astronomical interests further. Don't be afraid to ask anything. We were all where you are now, and many of us learnt by attending Astronomical Society talks and asking lots of questions.
