MKAS currently use Zoom for running their virtual meetings.

To gain access to a presentation, we will publish a link that takes you directly to the event.

If you cannot connect using that link, the you can also join the meeting by going to zoom.us and entering the Meeting ID and Passcode (supplied for each event).

Please try to log in to the meeting between 7:50pm and 7:55pm on Friday, or slightly earlier if you have not used Zoom before.

If you need to join by phone then you have the following numbers to choose from:
+44 203 051 2874
+44 203 481 5237
+44 203 481 5240
+44 203 901 7895
+44 131 460 1196

There is a limit of 500 for these event, so please make sure you join soon after 7:50pm to ensure your place.

Not used Zoom before?...

If you have not used Zoom before, you will need to allow Zoom to download their App to your device but where it asks you to allow access to your contacts DON'T do so, then when it asks you to allow Zoom to contact you, directly under the button where it asks you to accept Zoom contacting you, click on the small link just below the large button, and then you can turn the frequency of the Zoom contacts right down to a minimum! By doing this, you will only get very occasional update emails from Zoom.

If you are new to Zoom it might be an idea to start logging in soonest after 7:50pm to get set up ready!

If Zoom asks if you want to join the meeting using computer audio and video, accept this option.

If you are viewing with another person, please, please, please, ensure that you set your microphone to muted once in the Zoom meeting, if you want to have a private chat, otherwise you will be broadcasting to everyone in the meeting! If you leave your microphone muted you can then press the space bar on your keyboard to temporarily un-mute when you wish to say something.
