TELESCOPES AND INSTRUMENTS
MKAS have some telescopes and other equipment that members can borrow to use.

Anyone who has been a member of MKAS for six months or more will be eligible to borrow any of the instruments or equipment available for loan. (Ask for details of what equipment is available).

Loan Duration

State how long you would like to loan the instrument(s) for on the loan form.
If you wish to loan instrument(s) longer than six months, you must sign the instrument(s) out again after six months.
Providing no one else has already booked the same instrument(s) out already after your pre-arranged loan period which may be greater than six months you may continue the loan.

How To Book & Re-Book Instrument(s)

At a meeting ask for the Instruments & Observatory Coordinator.
By Email: Instruments & Observatory Coordinator

Instrument(s) can be collected and signed out at an observing session at Canterbury or at a Bredhurst meeting.

Disclaimer

Members who borrow equipment must return the equipment in the condition it was borrowed. Failure to return equipment in the condition it was borrowed will be subject to a charge for repairs or replacement.
