MKAS STARGAZING AND SPACE SPECTACULAR EVENTS
MKAS organise and hold a number of big events, called Space Spectaculars, often in collaboration with local councils and other groups, where we bring Astronomy to the public.

TIMES: From 4pm until 10pm. We ask all guests to leave promptly at 10.00pm to allow us to clear and secure the site.
CATERING: Light refreshments including sandwiches, crisps and hot and cold drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
IMPORTANT: Please note there is some distance to walk over uneven ground between the buildings and washroom facilities. There are also steps in each of the buildings and leading to the observation area so this event is unfortunately not suitable for disabled guests unable to climb a short flight of steps. Dressing for the weather is recommended and appropriate footwear should be worn.
Entry is via our main gate ONLY with no exceptions. No other entrances to the site will be available on the day. Tickets MUST be presented to secure entry, and visitors without tickets will unfortunately be refused access.
PARKING: Except for disabled guests (limited blue badge disabled parking is available on a first come first served basis), there is NO PARKING at the Fort. Paid parking can be found at the Brook, the Library, Pentagon Centre and Gun Wharf - all are within a short walk of the Fort. PLEASE NOTE guests must be able to walk a reasonable distance up-hill to reach the attractions. If in doubt and you need further advice please phone the office before booking tickets
