VISITING THE SOCIETY www.midkentastro.org.uk/visit
Everyone is welcome at Mid-Kent Astronomical Society
Members of the public can visit the society at our regular meetings.
Everyone of all ages and levels of expertise is welcome, including complete beginners.
Children (under 18s) are also welcome, when accompanied by an adult.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, and be ready for observing, if it is clear. Remember that it can get very cold, especially in winter, so bring several layers or your warmest winter coat, as you feel appropriate.
Regular meetings to listen to our interesting talks
Regular meetings are held on the second and last Friday of each month, except August and at Christmas, when there are no meetings. Meetings normally start at 7.45pm for 8pm.
There is a small entrance fee (£2 for members or £5
for visitors) for each meeting to cover costs for refreshments and other meeting costs.
At every meeting, we run a Telescope surgery for those who bring along their telescopes and need some assistance with setting it up. This is a free service.
All Regular meetings are held at Bredhurst Village Hall unless otherwise stated.
See the EVENTS page for details of our forthcoming events.
